About Us

Our Vision

Our Mission

To create a sustainable statewide network ensuring every Oklahoma food bank has access to nutritious, locally sourced meat.

To supplement food banks by funding the processing of donated livestock, providing consistent, high-protein food to families in need.

Our Story

Modern Day Manna was inspired by the Marlow Samaritan Beef Supplement Program, launched in 2023 by Dr. Lyndon Graf.

What began as a local effort, processing one animal per month, has grown into a model of community-driven hunger relief. By 2025, the program doubled its impact, demonstrating that simple, faith-driven action can transform lives.

MDM exists to take that model statewide.

"The Bible talks about feeding the poor in numerous passages. As a Christian, I see it as both my obligation and privilege to help provide for those in need."

“Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his deed.”

Proverbs 19:17

“Whiskey Creek Processing didn’t just launch a program, they answered a real need in our community. Their generosity put high-quality meat on the tables of families who needed it most, delivering both nourishment and dignity. It’s a powerful reminder that when local businesses step up, lives are changed in a very real way. United Way of South Central Oklahoma was honored to work with Whiskey Creek to put food in the hands of folks across our counties and communities. "
